Most of us could do with a little extra cash to cover things like fun holidays, unusually expensive bills, or to simply have more fun with. The good news is, in many ways, it has never been easier to make a little more cash on the side than it is right now.
Here are some creative ideas that could see you raking in the cash, without having to take on an extra job, right now:
Try Matched Betting
Matched betting can be complicated until you’ve read up extensively and given it a tentative go, so I won’t try to explain it here - there are lots of great resources for that elsewhere online - but it definitely bears mentioning because it is such a great way to make money, and potentially a lot of it.
Basically, matched betting is a way of leveraging free bets offered by gambling sites, which you can find more about at freebets, to make money betting on everything from horse racing to football. You will need a little cash to get you started, and you should proceed cautiously, but once you get the hang of it, you can earn a decent extra income. Many people have already earned thousands from the hobby and some even make a full-time living from it.
Start a Blog
If you’re the creative type, you could earn a side income by writing your own blog. Of course, there are a lot of blogs out there, so if you want to be a success, you will need to come up with a unique idea and put a lot of time into creating great content, but it is doable, and once you get a decent audience, you can make money by promoting affiliate links, selling courses or even selling your services as a writer for hire.
Collect Cash Back
Okay, so technically you will be saving money rather than earning it is you use cash back, but in effect, if you’re using methods like cash back websites and credit cards to pay for things you would need to buy anyway, you are making money because you’ll have more left in your pocket at the end of the month. Penny saved is a penny earned, as they say. Just remember that if you’re using a cash back credit card, you’ll need to pay the balance off in full at the end of the month to avoid interest and actually get the benefit of the offer.
Sell Your Skills
Whether you’re great at doing makeup, a whizz in the kitchen or a green-fingered genius, chances are you can make a little extra on the side by offering your skills to people in the local community. Lots of people don’t have the time, skill or inclination to do a lot of things that are every day for us and they are willing to pay well for someone else to come in and take care of it for them. So work out what you do best and start offering your services on social media - you might be surprised at how in-demand you are.
Do you have a good way to make more money on the side?
